Party At The White House!

I will start off by saying I really don't know how much "truth" there is to this article. I tried to research it on Snopes but wasn't able to find anything.

Apparently, The Obama's are quite the party animals. The White House appears to be the new Washington D.C. hot spot but just how much of our tax dollars are going towards these fiestas? I would love to find out. Obviously they have to entertain, that goes without saying but how much is too much? This is an extremely interesting article on the subject but like I said earlier, I wasn't able to find anything on Snopes so I have no idea how much validity it has. I'm wondering if there is a way to research which first Family has held the most "social gatherings" if you will, at the White House?

It does annoy me that Obama feels he needs to bring the outside to him since he is unable to move freely about his way. News Flash! You wanted to be President of this country therefore you need to except every aspect of the lifestyle that comes with it, both the good and the bad. Something tells me though, he will continue to do as he damn well pleases all at the expense of the average hardworking American.

You know what...I'm going to put this on the back burner for a bit and come back to it after I've done a bit more research on it. This entire story has me very intrigued....

Before you screwed us into the ground. I knew our entire township was having our homes and property re-assessed but I really wasn't worried. I figured at most, with everything that is going on with the housing market our taxes might go up a few hundred dollars more a year. Yeah, it would hurt but such is life. I never expected for them to go up an additional $1700.00 on top of what we already pay.

How is this possible. Just about everyone we know who lives in the same township as us (except they don't live on the island) had their taxes lowered. Yup, you read that correctly, lowered. I guess those of us who live over here are expected to carry the extra financial weight of the rest of the township? Great theory except.......we can't afford these taxes. I don't know what on earth we are going to do. I have a meeting set up next Thursday to appeal this but who knows what will come of it. I know everyone who lives over here is fighting, fighting to be able to keep a roof over our heads. Some people even had their taxes doubled. Is this legal? Can they do this?

I am so sad. What a week. My truck needs four new tires and we found mold in the bathroom which has to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY. They say everything happens in threes so all I can do is pray that this is it. Wish us luck.

A Tragic Day For Our Country

I don't even know what to say. I have never been so scared for the next four years in all my life. At least I don't have to worry about my husband badgering me for sex for awhile since we will both be getting screwed for the next four years.

2012 can't come soon enough.
